2022 will not be Baldwin's year!
There is no end to the accusations! After the murder, Alec Baldwin is sued for defamation and mental anguish.
Alec Baldwin (63) has been unlucky lately, and new charges are pending before him. He is being sued by the family of US Marine Ryle J. McCollum, who lost his life in a suicide attack in Kabul on August 26 last year during the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan, sources say, according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital. But, what happened?
It all started when the actor heard about this sad story so he decided to contact the sister of the slain Marine, Roice McCollum. Baldwin offered her a check for five thousand dollars to hand over to her brother's widow who had just given birth to their daughter.
But Roice decided to show her gratitude with an unusual move by posting a photo on her Instagram on January 3, amid violent protests in front of the US Capitol. It was early last year as a riot in the election of Joe Biden, 79, as the new US president.
Faithful Democrat Baldwin saw her post where Donald Trump supporters, 75, are attacking the Senate building, so he decided to respond with a comment:
"When I sent a check for your late brother, out of real respect for his service to our country, I did not know that you were a rioter and a participant in violent protests" said the actor.
But the actor was not even supported by his fans because he soon received answers that Roice did not participate in any violence or actions and that she was questioned by the FBI in this regard, without any further accusations. His words allegedly upset the sister of the dead Marine a lot, and she decided to accuse the actor of slander, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of mental pain, and she is asking him for a staggering $ 25 million for satisfaction.
Recall, the actor three months ago on the set of the western "Rust" shot from a gun that was supposed to be a prop, and accidentally killed the director of photography Halyna Hutchins and wounded director Joel Souza (48). Baldwin's cell phone was confiscated as one of the key pieces of evidence, and this bizarre and sad accident is still under investigation.
Alec wrote that a police officer should be present at the shootings to monitor gun use.
"On every film or television set on which a weapon is used, fake or not, there should be a police officer, employed by the production, to specifically monitor the safety of the weapon, "the devastated actor wrote.
