Prince Harry's spokesman denies the news that four books are in preparation
The news that the Duke of Sussex has signed a contract for four books, including one book to be published after the death of his 95-year-old grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, is incorrect, Prince Harry's spokesman said.
The spokesman referred to a Daily Mail report on how Harry had signed a lucrative contract for four books, one of which should be published after the Queen’s death.
Speculation about the sequels to Harry’s literary editions surfaced after his publisher Penguin Random House announced on July 19 that he would publish accurate and completely true memoirs in late 2022, a few months after the Queen’s platinum jubilee celebrations in June.
'I am not writing this as the prince I was born as, but as the man I became. I have worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and I hope that by telling you my story - ups, downs, mistakes, and lessons learned - I can help point out that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think. ', said Prince Harry announcing his book.
Proceeds from the book and audiobook, which cover the period from his childhood to the public eye, through military service in Afghanistan to the inauguration of his wife Meghan Markle and children Archie and Lilibet, will be donated to private purposes.
