The Japanese manufacturer of home appliances presented an unusual smartphone

Balmuda, a Japanese company that has made a name for itself by producing expensive home appliances, unveiled the Balmuda Phone on Tuesday, a smartphone of compact dimensions but a high price of as much as $ 920.

It is a rounded device that has a 4.9-inch 16: 9 1080p screen and 13.7 millimeters on the thickest part. On the back, there is a 48 MP camera, while across it there is a fingerprint sensor, which greatly adds to the unusual design. For selfies, there is an 8 MP front camera, which looks quite large on a compact screen.

The Balmuda Phone drives a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Due to its dimensions, this smartphone has a battery capacity of 2,500 mAh, but at least it has wireless charging, which will ease the situation, writes The Verge.

According to CEO Gen Terao, the company aimed at a compact phone that fits well in the hand due to its rounded design, but also a plastic "butt", so many users who are looking for a smaller device will like it.
