Actress Jennifer Garner, Ben's ex-wife with whom he has three children - 15-year-old Violet, 12-year-old Serafina, and nine-year-old Samuel, does not support his latest relationship. Some of the allegations are that Jennifer even forbade the singer to get involved with her and Ben's children.

"Jen is very sad about all this with JLo because she is aware of how unstable Ben is at the moment and how confusing this renewal of old love must be to him. He has been lost for some time and this can be seen from such reckless and sudden decisions. But, as always, Ben does not want anyone's help, so this time he will have to burn himself, but Jen has had enough", an unnamed source mentioned, revealing how the actress decided that her children will not meet the new woman in Dad's life.

Jennifer Garner was married to Ben from 2005 to 2018, and despite a rather public media divorce, the duo remained on friendly terms primarily because of their three children together.
