Alex came to terms with the fact that he will never be with Jennifer again

All attention is focused on the renewed relationship between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. According to Entertainment Tonight, the former athlete and fiancé of Jennifer, Alex Rodriguez has finally accepted that he and J.Lo. will never reconcile. Rodriguez’s hopes were gone when Ben Affleck reportedly met Lopez’s children, and when the news of the couple sharing clothes hit the headlines. Alex and the Latino diva announced that they had canceled their engagement back in April 2021.

“When they first separated, he wanted to sort it out and still held on hoping that he and Jennifer would reconcile. He has come to terms with the fact that it is over now, ”said the source.

In May, sources said Rodriguez was "surprised" by how quickly Jennifer moved on.

“Jennifer and Alex stayed in touch after the break-up and even saw each other since the split. The two plan to remain friends and do business together. Alex understood that Jennifer wanted to be single, but he was shocked by the quick encounter between her and Affleck. The source went on to say that Lopez had tried to make the relationship a success since Rodriguez’s children and hers became close friends, but things just didn’t lead to a happy ending.
