Amanda Holden's Big Ambitions For Her Daughter
Lexi Holden, Amanda Holden's eldest child, has signed with Kate Moss' Storm Management modeling agency.
The happy mother of two talked proudly of her daughter's latest accomplishment, explaining that, despite being signed this week, the 16-year-old won't be doing anything formal until she is 18.
"They came after her and they're absolutely lovely and caring," Amanda said in an exclusive interview with the newspaper. "It will be a delicate, slow thing and she won't do anything till she's 18 but they want her and that's what she wants to do."
The 51-year-old went on to say that more than one modeling agency was interested in Lexi when she was a teenager, but Lexi finally selected Storm.
"She's taken the decision to sign with them, and Chris and I are quite protective of her, but they're interested," she explained.
Despite her new modeling profession, Amanda still hopes Lexi will attend university, and has pushed her to "defer university for a year" to see "where life takes her."
Amanda, who is married to Chris Hughes and has a ten-year-old daughter named Hollie, joked about becoming a "momager" like Kris Jenner, but lauded Chris for being the most "smart" in business.
"Chris is great," she added, adding later, "he is a record producer and works at a management level with musicians and is incredibly sophisticated when it comes to business and contracts, and I'm in it."
Amanda and her family have had a week full of surprises; not only have they celebrated Lexi's fantastic professional move, but they've also celebrated Amanda's 51st birthday with many parties.

Amanda Louise Holden was born in Bishop's Waltham, Hampshire, to on February 16, 1971. Debbie, her younger sister, is her only sibling. She went Swanmore Secondary School (now Swanmore College) and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts after that.
With her then-fiancé Chris Hughes, she gave birth to her first child, Alexa Louise Florence Hughes, in 2006. Two years later, on December 10, 2008, the pair married. In February 2011, Holden gave birth to Hughes' second child, son Theo Hughes.
The next year, she gave birth to his third child, daughter Hollie Rose Hughes.
