Amy Schumer took out her fillers!

Barely 40 years old, Amy Schumer wanted to give herself a little facelift. Unfortunately, the syringes that ran through her face transformed her considerably... and not for the better.

She says it and affirms it. Amy Schumer feels beautiful. This is in any case the title of her film I feel pretty, dating from the year 2018. And yet, time passes and the film industry often ends up gnawing at the actresses, scrutinized from evening to morning, pointed at the slightest change of silhouette or the appearance of a small wrinkle. This is probably why the American actress wanted to try a new experiment, that of cosmetic surgery.

I was starting to look like the character from the Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent.

As she revealed on her Instagram account, Amy Schumer poured a few dollars to get injections on her face. The result was, alas, not what was expected. "I tried to fill in the gaps," she admits on social networks on December 26, 2021. But apparently, I was already full. Thank God we can dissolve the injected product because I was starting to look like Maleficent from the Sleeping Beauty." On the famous photograph shared online, we see the actress actually transformed, with a good layer of cream on her cheeks. Back to a human face in three, two, one...

Married to chef Chris Fischer since February 2018, mother of a little boy named Gene David - who had to change his name! -, Amy Schumer definitely spends a lot of time in a hospital environment. Her last visit, of course, is not a laughing matter at all. Victim of a severe form of endometriosis, the US comedian had to undergo an ablation of the uterus and appendix, which occurred last September. Until then, she had been fighting tirelessly to have a second child using in vitro fertilization...

Amy explained to one follower that turning 40 and undergoing surgery for endometriosis - which involved the removal of her uterus and appendix - was the reason behind her getting fillers in the first place.

Endometriosis is where tissue from the uterus grows outside of it.

And the 'Trainwreck' actress recently admitted she felt like a "changed person" following the surgery.

Amy has felt much "stronger" and has a lot more "energy" to care for her and her husband Chris Fischer's two-year-old son Gene.

Sharing her pathology report, she wrote on Instagram: “I’m feeling stronger and thrilled about life. I attached the audio of @seckinmd going over my pathology with me if that interests you. I cry through most of the findings.”

“I had a tumour in my endo ravaged appendix. Cysts in both ovaries. Endo of the uterus, psoas all over my body which explained my lifelong pain”

“I am already a changed person. I am busting with joy for the new energy I have to be with my son.

Although Amy joked she couldn't answer questions "medically", she emphatically replied "f*** yes" when asked if her issues were connected to her difficult pregnancy.
