Angelina and Brad calmed down about the children, but now an argument broke out over the vineyard on which they were married!
After years of the custody battle, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, the former couple, are now clashing over a joint winery.
After years of the custody battle, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, the former couple are now clashing over a joint winery.
Jolie's lawyers are asking for the automatic temporary injunction to be lifted so that Angelina can sell Nouvel, LLC, which she acquired separately before the marriage.
That company of hers and Pitt’s Mondo Bongo LLC are equal shareholders of the Luxembourg company, which has ownership stakes in the Chateau Miraval estate in France, as well as the SNC Miraval Provence winery.
The actress' lawyer claims that "the divorce of the parties changed their ability to work together as business partners", so Jolie talked for two years about the possibility of selling her share to Pitt, but those talks ended without any agreement.
Jolie reportedly now has a third-party offer that is a “sales opportunity” and wants to sell as soon as possible so the buyer doesn’t give up.
Chateau Miraval seems to have both financial and sentimental value for this couple, as they were married on his 2014 acre vineyard estate.
Angelina filed for divorce in 2016, and in May 2021, Pitt was given joint custody of their children.
Jolie has already tried to sell her wine company in court.
On 30 June, she applied for the termination of ATRO, but was denied "due to failure to show imminent danger / irreparable damage or immediate loss/damage to property".
Her lawyer says that the situation is different now and that the buyer will give up, so a solution is needed as soon as possible.
