Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's three children wanted to testify against their father in a custody trial!

The three children of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt wanted to testify against their father at the custody hearing, but the actress claims that the judge did not allow them, reports Page Six.

"Three children have requested to testify," Angelina's lawyers said in court documents they filed in December 2020, published by Us Weekly on Thursday.

However, an independent lawyer familiar with the case said the children's testimonies were actually heard during the proceedings.

"The long, detailed decision was based on the professional testimony of the people with whom the children spoke during the procedure so their testimonies were actually taken into account "- said the lawyer.

Brad recently received joint custody after hours of testimony from child protection staff, therapists, and other professionals, who all spoke with their children.

The court documents from December allegedly do not state which three children asked to testify against their father, but it is noted that the children whose custody is being conducted are old enough to understand what is happening in the case.

"The trial will definitely affect them emotionally. Making one of the children suffer in vain is not only unjustified but also cruel" - the lawyers state in the papers.

Recall, Angelina, after the court's decision, promised to continue her fight because she believes that the court was wrong not to allow her children to testify. She recently submitted documents stating that she was ready to testify about the alleged domestic violence she suffered from Bredd.

A source close to the actress claims that Angelina is actually fighting against a law that does not take into account the whole range of problems that affect her and other families in this situation. She also adds that her goal was never to deny the children a connection with their father.
