Britney will not be charged because there is not enough evidence that the crime happened and there are no substantial injuries on the employee, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office announced.

On August 16, the employee filed a lawsuit after the alleged physical confrontation in the singer's house. She claimed that Britney snatched her mobile phone from her hands, but after the investigation, it was concluded that there were no visible injuries or significant damage to her mobile phone.

"The Ventura County Attorney's Office rejected the misdemeanor report against Britney Spears, which is not a surprise. The sheriff's department admitted that it was an extremely small incident and it was stated that there were no attacks or injuries," confirmed the singer's lawyer Matthew Rosengart.

"As I have already said, this is nothing but exaggeration and speculation. If the incident Involved Jane Doe rather than Britney Spears it would not have been pursued or covered at all" the lawyer added.

Matthew Rosengart claims that the employee did not even have to file a lawsuit and that the prosecutor did the right thing.

"Unfortunately, it is obvious that some have not learned anything from the past, and we hope that the media and others will respect Miss Spears more in the future," the lawyer concludes.
