Matt Damon sold his luxury villa for $ 18 million to Warner Bros. CEO Ann Sarnoff, after it's been on the market for a year
Hollywood actor Matt Damon has finally managed to sell his stunning Pacific Palisades villa for $ 18 million after the property has been on the market for a year.
The villa was originally sold at a price of $ 21 million, but after a few months, it was reduced to $ 17.9 million because bids were slow to arrive.
According to the Daily Mail, it was bought by Warner Bros. CEO Ann Sarnoff. The villa has seven bedrooms and ten bathrooms.
Damon decided to sell in January this year after moving with his wife to a penthouse in Brooklyn Heights, New York, The New York Post reported.
The zen-inspired villa was built in 2004 and is located on more than half a hectare of land. Its main feature is a combination of warm details made of wood and stone, and according to the original concept, no major reconstruction was done.
With high ceilings and windows, the ambiance is sophisticated, and a number of carefully selected details have contributed to the decoration.
New owners will enjoy the benefits of luxury gastronomic and shopping locations nearby such as The Palisades Village, Santa Monica, and The Riviera Country Club, and photos of the luxury building can be viewed in our gallery.
