Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's love story
John Legend rarely talks about himself in the media, this role was taken over by his wife - hated model Chrissy Teigen.
John Legend was born in 1987 in the small town of Springfield, Ohio.
This American nightingale began his career in 2004 when he released his debut album called ‘Get Lifted’. The debut was immediately noticed by the audience and the industry, and in the same year, Legend won a Grammy Award in three categories: best R&B album, best male vocal performance and best new artist.
Over the years, he worked on numerous duets, singles. Also, he was a vocal coach and jury member at the American 'Supertalent'. He is the first African-American performer to join a prestigious EGOT club whose acronyms stand for Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards.
His love life started to be followed from 2011 when the Maldives became engaged to model Chrissy Teigen with whom he was married two years later. In the video for perhaps his greatest hit, ‘All of Me’, Teigen starred while she was pregnant with her first daughter, Luna Simone.
'All of Me' is also a milestone for the family and wife of John Legend. The new family began to cover the new family frequently, but the famous singer never exposed himself to the public too much. On the contrary, this 'task' was taken over by Chrissy, who has become a very frequent face in the media space.
From the birth of her second child to her miscarriage last year, Teigen has always spoken openly about her attitudes and feelings, creating an army of fans as well as haters, and then the biggest scandal of her career erupted this year. Several celebrities are accused of online abuse.
Recall, Chrissy recently found herself the target of condemnation after it was revealed that she verbally abused numerous public figures.
Among other things, she told her colleague Courtney Stodden in 2011 that she hoped she would to “go to sleep forever”, she publicly joked about Lindsay Lohan’s confession about self-harm, telling her to “add another cut on her hand because Emma Stone looks better than her, ” and called Farrah Abraham a derogatory name.
Also, designer Michael Costello accused Chrissy Teigen of harassing him so much in 2014 that he was overwhelmed by dark thoughts, so he struggled with depression for years. On several occasions, he also wanted to take his own life. His side of the story saw the light of day on June 14, as the beauty in an open letter on her platforms “stood behind” her once very ugly behavior towards others.
“I’ve been suffering from trauma for the last seven years. I also wanted to kill myself. Everything still haunts me, that depression, dark thoughts” – Michael wrote, whom Chrissy attacked in 2014 because of a certain comment that was interpreted as racist.
After numerous brands gave up cooperation with her and terminated the contracts they had until then, Chrissy withdrew from the public, until recently when she addressed everything in a long open letter via social networks.
“I know that few people want to hear about me at all, but for weeks now I have only been thinking about everything I have done and I deeply regret it. Everyone who condemns me is absolutely right. When I see all my former tweets that are now circulating on social networks, I realize how much harm I have done to people and I wonder how I could have done that. I am currently trying to get in touch with all the people I have offended in my desire to apologize to them, but I fully understand all those who do not want to accept the apology. I probably wouldn’t in their place either” – Taigen wrote, among other things.
