Dell launches two new 32-inch gaming monitors
Dell has heralded the arrival of a pair of new gaming-oriented monitors, the 32-inch G3223Q and G3223D, both equipped with Fast IPS panels with 4K resolutions and features, about a year after the last additions to its roster.
High-end for the most discriminating players.
So, although being very similar, these monitors differ slightly: the Dell G3223Q has a 144 Hz panel, and the G3223D has a 165 Hz refresh rate. The G3223D, on the other hand, is rated and compliant with the HDR 400 standard, while the G3223Q goes one step further to HDR 600.
Aside from the design, these monitors share various features, including edge-lit screens, 1ms (gray-to-gray) reaction time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and DCI-P3 color gamut. Similarly, both monitors are compatible with AMD FreeSync technology, however, the G3223D will also be certified for NVIDIA G-Sync.
The Dell G3223D has two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DP 1.4 port, a USB-C port with DP-Alt mode and 15W power delivery, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and a 3.5mm jack audio connection for connectivity.
The G3223Q, on the other hand, features two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DP 1.4 port, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and a headphone jack.
Finally, both screens include stands that allow for height, swivel, and tilt adjustments.
Both monitors are already accessible on the American website, with pricing ranging from 719.99 dollars for the G3223D, which is already available, to $1,099.99 for the G3223Q, which will be available by the end of this month.
