Did Amber beat Johnny on their honeymoon?
A photo shown in court could prove that Amber Heard beat Johnny Depp on their honeymoon.
The endless court battle between former spouses Amber Heard and Johnny Depp continues, and new testimonies reveal new details from this turbulent marriage. We've seen a lot so far, including footage showing that even Johnny, who has garnered mostly public sympathy, wasn't exactly innocent. Jonhhy was breaking into the house, Amber has been caught lying on several occasions, and much attention these days has been drawn to messages shown to the court by Johnny’s former agent in which Amber Heard admits she never loved her ex-boyfriend, billionaire Elon Musk, one of the few people who still support her.
New information came from the testimony of Malcolm Connolly, Depp's personal bodyguard. Connolly told the court that he did not see a physical showdown between ex-partners, but he noticed injuries and scratches on Johnny Depp’s face.
'In the beginning, everything was great. It was wonderful to see Johnny happy again. Amber was wonderful, charming and as good as gold, 'he said, then revealed that this was beginning to change quickly.
' She started to change. She became arrogant and demanding. I could see that Amber wanted to be the main one in this relationship. It was pretty obvious, 'said Connolly.
He said that Amber used to be very cold, and Johnny, as he says, became quieter when he saw her mood changed. He admitted that he had never witnessed a physical confrontation between the two, but heard them arguing.
' I could hear Amber screaming. I heard her shouting, 'he said, adding that he mostly heard her shouting and that the couple' quarreled often'.He said he started noticing scratches and injuries on Johnny Depp's face, but that he never saw any traces of injuries on Amber Heard.
‘I immediately noticed that injuries are most often seen on the left side of his face. He would have scratches on his neck, a swollen lip or a bruise on his eye. It started happening regularly. Maybe not every week, but it happened, 'he said.
A photo taken during the honeymoon of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard in 2013, which shows injuries on the actor's face, was also shown in court. Connolly showed swelling on the left side of Depp’s nose and under his left eye.
As a reminder, this is not the first photo of the injuries that the former couple showed during their public conflict. The public has not yet forgotten the disturbing photos of ex-spouses full of bruises and cuts, stained with blood, which saw the light of day at the 2020 trial when the actor sued the tabloid The Sun for calling him a female abuser.
