In fact, it is a new HONOR 50 series, which will have maybe two, and maybe only one model and will be based on the Snapdragon 778G platform.
Cooperation with Qualcomm is extremely important for HONOR because since it started on its own, it is very important to let current and future users know that it is moving again and practically from where it left off when Huawei lost the support of Google.
At the Qualcomm China Tech Day 2021 summit, HONOR announced that the new smartphone, to be announced in June, will feature the aforementioned Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset and that "the HONOR 50 will be an industry leader with revolutionary features and design."
In addition, George Zhao, CEO of HONOR, said on the same occasion that the premium line of HONOR Magic phones will be based on flagship components and will be “a leading high-end product with outstanding photo quality that will make the best use of Qualcomm processor to image processing capabilities ”.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G
The new Snapdragon 778G chipset is made by TSMC on a 6 nm manufacturing process.
The Kryo 670 CPU is paired with the Adreno 642L GPU and the new Spectra 570L ISP photo processor.

Also, the aforementioned new ISP allows you to take pictures with a wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle, and telephoto camera at the same time.
According to the official announcement of Qualcomm, the first phones that will have the Snapdragon 778G chipset are HONOR, iQOO, Motorola, Oppo, Realme, and Xiaomi.
