Dua Lipa shared her picture on Instagram and is now being suied for $ 150,000!
The photo was released in February 2019, and Integral Images notes that the musician uses Instagram as a marketing tool.
Dua Lipa is facing a lawsuit because she shared her paparazzi photo on Instagram, writes the Independent.
On July 6, Integral Images filed an eight-page lawsuit against the famous singer, accusing her of copyright infringement.
According to the text of the lawsuit, Lipa shared one of their photos 'without permission', in which the singer in a big hat leaves the airport.
The photo was posted in February 2019 on her Instagram account, and Integral Images notes that the musician uses that social networking platform as a marketing tool.
‘Her account is monetized in a way that publishes content designed to encourage her followers to consume and purchase the defendant’s content, on which the defendant earns,’ the lawsuit says.
Integral Images is seeking $ 150,000 in damages, covering all litigation costs and attorneys' fees, and issuing an order to prevent the singer from posting their photos in the future.
The British singer is not the first celebrity to be sued for sharing her own paparazzi pictures on social media. Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber faced similar lawsuits in 2019.
