First Mario then Garfield: What's up with Chris Pratt's voice?
Following the announcement that Chris Pratt is playing Garfield in the upcoming animated film, some fans have expressed their disappointment on social media over the choice of actor by stringing parody mimes.
Chris Pratt is the latest in a long line of actors who have lent their voice to the orange cat who hates Monday.
While loyal Garfield fans are excited about the new animated film, individuals on the social networks are more interested in sharing their dissatisfaction with the choice of the actor.

Many insist that Pratt's voice does not match the characteristic grumpy cat. Although Pratt has experience as a voice performer, it is pointed out that his previous characters were mostly highly enthusiastic, which does not fit into Garfield's personal tone.

Others are just joking about Pratt seemingly giving everyone a voice after he recently got the role of Mario in Nintendo's animated film "Super Mario Bros.", which also attracted public attention.

Although Pratt is widely known for his role as Andy Dwyer in the comedy series "Parks and Recreation" and superhero Peter Quill in Marvel Cinematic Universe, he is not unfamiliar with voice acting in animated films. Moreover, Pratt starred in "The Lego Movie" and in Pixar's "Onward."
