Halle Berry to "Catwoman" fans: "Where were you 17 years ago?"
Halle Berry, a former Catwoman, says she is grateful to fans of her 2004 film, despite receiving bad reviews at the time.
Apart from Halle Berry, this DC heroine was interpreted by Anne Hathaway and Michelle Pfeiffer, and now the alter ego of Celine Heil, ie Catwoman, has been revived by actress Zoe Kravitz, acting together with Robert Pattinson in the latest Batman.
Responding to a fan on Twitter who wrote that he still appreciates the superhero film "Catwoman" from 2004 because Hale Berry "ate up" the role of Catwoman, the actress wrote that she feels "all love", but at the same time wonders why people didn't say so 17 years ago.
I’m seeing all the Catwoman love, everybody. Where were you guys 17 years ago https://t.co/NI8oKeKsDT — Halle Berry (@halleberry) October 26, 2021
By the way, the actress at the time was no stranger to comic book-based films, as she starred in the films “X-Men” (2000) and “X-2: X-Men United” (2003).

After the failure of "Catwoman," she repeated her role as a Marvel character in "X-Men: The Last Stand" (2006) and "X-Men: Days of Future Past" (2014). The new version of Catwoman, played by Anne Hathaway, appeared in "The Dark Knight Rises."
Despite the bad reception that her character attracted, Berry claims: "Cat Woman is still my favorite superhero."
