“He wants to marry a nanny”: Diana thought Charles was planning her tragic accident!
Diana thought that he wants to marry their kids' nanny!
Today marks the 60th birthday of Princess Diana. She tragically passed away almost 24 years ago, and the details of her death are still being debated today. According to the latest reports published by the British media, Princess Diana believed that Prince Charles wanted to get rid of her because of Tiggy Legge-Bourke who worked as the nanny of their sons William and Harry.
"My husband is planning a car accident in which I will be killed, how my brakes will fail and how I will get a serious head injury and he might marry nanny Tiggy who is babysitting William and Harry," Diana wrote in her diary, which is why Prince Charles was eventually questioned by police, the Daily Mail reports.
People magazine writes that Prince Charles hired Tiggy in 1993, shortly after he and Diana separated. She accompanied William and Harry on family vacations and formed a close bond with them. She married Charles Pettifer in 1999, and the princes were guests at her wedding. She, in turn, came to the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2018, and People writes that Tiggy is the godmother of their son Archie.
She came into the public spotlight right after Prince Charles' interrogation, but former Scotland Yard chief John Stevens told the Daily Mail that Charles had an incredible willingness to cooperate during the interrogation because he had nothing to hide. Stevens claims he said his intentions were by no means such.
