Ahead of the romantic occasion, the actor made a personalized music video for his girlfriend's song "On My Way" from her latest movie Marry Me. Ben Affleck surprised Jennifer Lopez with a romantic gesture ahead of Valentine's Day. The Marry Me actress stated that her partner had made her a personalized music video for her song "On My Way" from her upcoming film "as an early Valentine's Day surprise."
Various photos of Affleck, 49, and Lopez, 52, from their first relationship between 2002 and 2004 are woven into Lopez's original music video for "On My Way," which aired in December, in the almost 4-minute-long video.
Lopez explained that whatching it made her think aboout the journey of true love.
Jennifer also told fans that the video is very special and personal and that she normally would have only shared it with her inner circle.
Lopez and Affleck became engaged in November 2002, just a few months after they started dating, however, their relationship ended in January 2004. In the spring of 2021, the two reconnected.
Lopez hinted at the couple's Valentine's Day plans earlier this month, saying that they will attend Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., on Sunday, the day before the celebration.
"I think we might go to the game," she said during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan, noting that "we" are "a few of us; you know, the inner circle."
Lopez said, "Just the two of us," when asked by presenter Ryan Seacrest who was inside the circle.
She didn't go into much more detail, other to note that she and Affleck "have plans" that night.
"But, you know, I'm not going to tell you about it right now!" Lopez gasped added.
She said that they will surprise each other with something, for sure. She and Affleck have a strong love relationship.
Playing a famous singer in the romantic comedy was "very fun and therapeutic," Lopez previously told.
Lopez also put together the soundtrack, which includes songs written by her and Maluma. "The songs are just as important in telling the story," she remarked.
The film Marry Me is now playing in cinemas.
Lopez's enthusiasm for Valentine's Day is understandable, considering that this is her and Ben's first Valentine's Day together since their reconciliation last spring.
And the media speculates that she also sees a hidden message in Affleck's gift, given that the song "On My Way" is actually the musical background to her film with the iconic title "Marry Me"
The story of the film, in which two superstars (played by J. Lo and Owen Wilson) are getting married in front of a large crowd, has a fascinating message.
