Kate and William are moving out!
According to Marie Claire, Prince William and Kate Middleton with their children should move to Windsor in Berkshire this summer.
An expert on the royal family, Kate Nicholl, gave the reasons why they decided to move.
Following the news that Kate Middleton and Prince William are moving from Kensington Palace, sources close to the royal family now claim that the couple decided on a residence near Queen Elizabeth, but also near Kate's parents.
According to Marie Claire, Prince William and Kate Middleton with their children should move to Windsor in Berkshire this summer, so that they can be closer to their family.
According to The Sun magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have already chosen their new home, and decided on a historic residence built by order of King William IV, in 1831, for his wife, Queen Adelaide. Adelaide's hut is located very close to the current residence of Queen Elizabeth, Windsor Castle, where she recently moved.
The Queen of Adelaide of Saxe-Meiningen stopped using this royal estate after the death of her husband, and Simon Rhodes, who is the son of Margaret Rhodes, Queen Elizabeth's cousin, is the last member of the royal family to live here in 2018.
An expert on the royal family, Kate Nicholl, gave the reasons why the prince and Kate decided to move:
“Neither William nor Kate have ever been too attached to London, nor have they enjoyed the chaos that reigns in the city. Although their home in Kensington Palace is certainly a place, they often felt that they lacked privacy."
Nicholl thinks that the change will be good for their children, who like to spend time outside London:
“They need a base that is close to the city, so they can easily get to London in case of official obligations and public events. That is why Windsor seems to be the ideal choice” - she concluded.
Recall, a couple of days back Princess Charlotte celebrated her seventh birthday. Kate has traditionally photographed a birthday girl in Norfolk and posted photos of the little princess surrounded by flowers. In one photo, Charlotte posed happily with her favorite – cocker spaniel Eagle. It is hard not to notice that the girl is more and more like her father, the future King Prince William.
