It is spilantol, which is actually a local anesthetic of plant origin. Its good side is that it can be used several times a day, and the effect is so strong that in almost an hour it can completely reduce wrinkles around the eyes. It is important to note that spilanthol is neither a medicinal substance nor medicine, but exclusively a cosmetic ingredient. It is a so-called fatty acid obtained from the plant Acmella oleracea, and fills small wrinkles and the first signs of aging on the face.

Dermatologists have confirmed its positive effect, however, there are currently no long-term studies that would further explain the effect of this ingredient. So far, there have been no side effects, but experts warn that as with any other product, you should be careful with this one.

Spilanthol is also found in some popular cosmetic preparations, but it is important to note that this ingredient is applied only after processing and extraction of the extract in laboratory conditions, ie the use of the plant itself is not recommended.

Spilanthol is added to serums, creams and is easy to use - by gently massaging the face. It is also recommended that you use it with other anti-aging products like hyaluronic acid, vitamin C or retinol to ensure the best possible results, just as Kate Middleton does.
