Two months ago, in November, the reality star got engaged to a famous drummer, Travis Barker, with whom she announced her relationship on Instagram in February 2021. Ever since she started dating him, everything about her has changed.
The 45-year-old Blink 182 drummer proposed to the 42-year-old reality star at the Rosewood Miramar Hotel in Montecito, California, and she shared pictures of a lavish proposal with the caption “forever” on her Instagram profile as they hugged surrounded by hundreds of heart-shaped red roses at the beach.
The news of the engagement was also reported by the American media, and a source close to the couple revealed to E! News that Kourtney was surprised and did not expect it to happen, and especially that all members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan would attend the proposal. Specifically, the romantic moment was not missed by Kim Kardashian, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Tristan Thompson, as well as Travis’ children.
Kourtney and Tristan were initially connected only by friendship, and the love affair began in 2020, just after Valentine’s Day.
Kourtney has been criticized by the public several times before, especially after close associates of the Kardashian family commented that her children were behaving as if they were raised by wolves, given that everything is provided and given to them on a silver platter.
This time Kourtney went too far again for allowing her 9-year-old daughter Penelope to dye her hair red and wear fur heels, to which many commented that Kourtney was clearly becoming her friend, not her mother.
The public primarily called her hypocritical because along with her fiancé Travis Barker, she lives on fast food, which greatly influenced the weight of her eldest son, Mason Disick. Before Travis, such a diet was not allowed in her house and they were all exclusively fed only the healthiest foods – which meant no gluten, lactose, and other additives.
Shortly after, her ex-partner and father of children Scott Disick condemned Kourtney for having Penelope photograph her and her fiancé in a promiscuous pose in the pool. The eldest Kardashian proudly posted the stories of all three in the pool and photos together on Instagram.
However, although she dyed her young daughter's hair, for Christmas Eve she allowed her to wear an expensive designer sleeveless mini dress, long gel nails, and feathered heels. Followers strongly condemned her on Instagram.
'You wear a dress like that for Christmas and you influence your daughter so much... A wonderful role model,' the follower condemned in the comments for wearing a red see-through dress and daring lingerie.
