Mark Ronson marked his birthday with an announcement about his wedding to Grace Gummer

‘I’m sure it took me 45 years to become a man worthy of your love,’ Ronson wrote in a post and thanked his beloved for making this year the greatest of his life, he shared a photo of them smiling, holding hands leaving the place in nature where they exchanged vows.

'I hope to spend every birthday with you until the last day. And after that. Forever yours', Ronson wrote and after a series of hearts for his sweetheart, added in parentheses: 'And yes, we got married'.

According to Page Six, the couple was supposed to have a bigger wedding ceremony in New York last month, but due to the expansion of the Delta variant of Covid, they were forced to reduce the celebration.

The news of the wedding comes shortly after the first rumors of their engagement in May when a ring with a large diamond was spotted on Gummer’s left hand.

The engagement was confirmed a few days later by Ronson when he was a guest on the Kevin Parker podcast behind Tame Impale's music project, revealing that he and Gummer also kissed for the first time while listening to his album 'InnerSpeaker'.

Just a month later, they first appeared as an engaged couple on the red carpet of the Gucci event on July 13th.

As The Sun wrote at the time, Ronson also received official approval from Meryl Streep and Don Gummer to marry their daughter, when he met them in March.

For both Ronson and Gummer, this is their second marriage.

Gummer was previously married to musician and actor Tay Strathairn, but filed for divorce in April 2020, citing an irreconcilable difference. They divorced in August 2019, a month after they got married in secret.

Ronson was previously married to French actress Josephine de La Baume, whom he married in 2011 and divorced in 2018. Prior to that marriage, he was engaged to Rashida Jones.
