Naomi Campbell was the victim of racist abuse
Naomi claims the incident overshadowed filming in Sofia.
Naomi Campbell (52), once the highest-paid model in the world, had an unpleasant experience at the airport in Bulgaria after an employee asked her to go to the side to be specially examined, writes the Daily Mail. She arrived in the Bulgarian capital Sofia for a fashion event, and she believes that she was singled out from other passengers because of her skin color.

A source claims that Naomi was very upset on May 19, when the unfortunate incident occurred. They state that it is not known whether the staff who requested a special search of her belongings are employed at the airport or work for a private company. Campbell was later seen leaving the airport with a cap on her head holding a bag in her hand before being taken by car to a luxury hotel in the city. She was in Sofia for three days, and after completing the task, she returned home. “She was very upset. The whole incident upset her greatly. She was looking forward to an exciting shoot in Sofia, but the unfortunate event overshadowed the job”, her friend said. The model believes that this is racial discrimination.
In July 2020, a close friend of Naomi Campbell, Vogue editor Edward Enninful, claimed he was racially discriminated against when he arrived at the offices of a prestigious fashion magazine in London. As he was entering the office building, the security guard told him that it would be better to use the loading space. Recalling an unpleasant experience he wrote about on social media, he said that the publishing house Condé Nast, which owns British Vogue, reacted quickly and immediately fired the security guard.
Naomi Campbell has already had an unpleasant experience at Heathrow Airport. She was escorted from the airport in handcuffs after a heated argument with the police. Then a version of the story was circulating about how the model got angry when a cabin crew member told her that her bag was not stored on the plane because it was too heavy.
