Philips expands its 500 series monitor catalog
Philips has announced the addition of two new displays to its 500 series. An "all-terrain" range for work, play, and general computer use. Monitors are the most significant PC peripherals, and the rise of telecommuting, events, web activities, social networks, and online entertainment necessitates the use of ever more competent and higher quality versions. Let's not even get started on those who specialize in games. Philips intends to contribute to the area with two models that are dedicated to versatility.
Philips 27E1N5600HE
It is the more intriguing of the two options offered. It is built on a 27-inch diagonal IPS panel with native QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels), 178-degree viewing angles, and a 75 Hz refresh rate, which, when combined with AMD FreeSync technology, allows it to play.
The monitor's USB Type-C port with power delivery allows users to charge their compatible device while transferring data and viewing the high-resolution video, all with a single cable.
It contains an embedded 5-megapixel webcam with an IR sensor to interact with Windows Hello in authentication duties to ensure collaborative work. It contains a physical switch for more privacy while not in use, as well as a noise-canceling microphone and two embedded 5-watt stereo speakers to round out the multimedia portion.
An EasySelect Menu Toggle key allows you to swiftly and simply modify settings, while the integrated cable management system frees up space on your desktop. It has LowBlue Mode and Flicker-free technologies to promote long-exposure use, as well as an ergonomic base with height, rotation, and pivot adjustments. It has HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2, and the USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 (upstream, power delivery up to 65W) inputs stated above.
Philips 24E1N5300HE
If you want the same varied approach and technology as the previous one but in a smaller size and price, the second Philips monitor will suit you. It offers the same USB Type-C port for easy connecting with a single cable, a 5 MP webcam for video conferencing, and Windows Hello integration for extra security.
It also contains the same ergonomic base and stereo speakers, eliminating the need for additional speakers. LowBlue Mode and Flicker-free anti-flickering technologies are also available. The difference between this model and the previous one is its 24-inch screen and FHD resolution. It has the same input connectors as its bigger brother, a maximum brightness of 300 nits, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1, and a hub with four USB 3.2 ports.
