Women's health is left to the ideology of men, Sharon Stone believes, and with this remark, she revealed that she has had a miscarriage as many as nine times so far. This shocking confession of the famous actress aims to "shake up" the world, and Sharon also explained the emotionally difficult process that women go through when they lose a baby.
“We women have no room to talk about this painful loss. It's not a small thing. However, we are forced to think that this is something we have to deal with on our own and that it is a kind of failure. I lost nine children by miscarriage” - said Stone, who still managed to become a mother when she adopted children and has three sons. “Instead of receiving the much-needed compassion, empathy, and healing that we need so much, women's health is left to the ideology of men” - Sharon points out.
Recall, the actress last year published a memoir entitled “The Beauty Of Living Twice", in which she discovered that her sister and she had been sexually abused by her grandfather. She said that her mother was horrified by this information, and she accepted it as a reality only after talking to both of them.
Sharon was born in 1958 in Pennsylvania. They considered her a gifted child, so she started second grade at just five years old. She graduated from Pennsylvania High School in 1975 and then enrolled at the University of Edinburgh. During her studies, she applied for the Miss County Crawford pageant and won. Thanks to that, she participated in the Miss Pennsylvania pageant, where the judges were delighted with her and advised her to start a modeling career, which Sharon did. Two years later, she realized that she wanted to be an actress, not a model.
In 1992, People magazine ranked her among the 50 most beautiful people in the world, and Empire magazine in 1995 as one of the 100 sexiest stars in film history. Two years later, she was placed on the list of the top 100 movie stars of all time. Four documentaries have been made about her and several biographies have been written.
