‘Global Citizen Live’ concert was held in New York that brought together the biggest stars in one place.
A month ago, a big concert called 'Global Citizen Live' was to take place in New York's Central Park, which was, in the end, postponed due to a downpour. But now the sunny Saturday has successfully brought the stars to the Big Apple.
This concert is just part of a 24-hour festival held on six continents by which musicians raise awareness of climate change, vaccination against covid, and famine crisis.

The ceremony was opened by Mayor Bill de Blasio, and then the atmosphere was ignited by Latino diva Jennifer Lopez. Classic J. Lo's energy and fiery dance delighted the audience, but she surprised many when at one point she put on a glittering New York Yankees hat that her ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez used to play for. She was joined on stage by LL Cool J and Ja Rule, and besides her, Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Cyndi Lauper, and the famous couple Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes performed in front of the audience.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle were also invited to talk about the importance of distributing covid vaccines around the world. "Vaccines are a fundamental human rights issue. Every single person deserves equal access to the vaccine. The circumstances in which you were born should not dictate your ability to survive, " said Harry.
