Sophie Turner, an actress who became famous for her role as Sansa Stark in "Game of Thrones", has been living in America with her husband, musician Joe Jonas. However, she would like that to change. As she said, there are many reasons why she wants to return to her native England, and one of them is her mental health.
“I miss England very much. People, attitude, everything. Slowly but surely I persuade my husband to move there. I love living in America, but because of my mental health I want to be surrounded by my family and friends” - said the actress, adding:
“Also because of my daughter. I would like her to have the opportunity to be educated and to have the school life that I, fortunately for me, had.”
Sophie points out that her husband is still resisting the idea. “Joe may need a little persuasion. My parents' house is synonymous with a real English home in the countryside - they have horses, sheep, cows” - says Sophie, who hopes that will please Joe.
For now, Sophie and Joe live in Florida with their daughter Willa. But the actress says she managed to bring at least some of England to Miami. “I buy things at the British market. In America, chocolate is not so good, and chips too. It's not the same. I need my "Bisto" and all the good stuff!” - she is honest.
Let us remind you, the actress and musician started dating in 2016, and the next year, they got engaged. They had two wedding ceremonies in 2019, one of which was in Paris. One year after the wedding, their daughter Willa was born, and now they are expecting another child, which they confirmed by coming to the MET Gala when Sophie showed her pregnant belly.
“That is what life is - educating the next generation. The most beautiful thing in my life is to see my daughter get stronger day by day. We are excited that our family will expand. That is the greatest blessing” - Turner concluded.
