The Black Shark 5: Next-gen gaming mobiles
Apart from Samsung and Apple, other players such as Black Shark, which has just unveiled its new Black Shark 5 family of gaming smartphones, are competing against other specialized devices such as the ASUS ROG or the Lenovo Legion, with some terminals that continue to surprise us with high-end features despite being focused on gaming.
The Black Shark 5, Black Shark 5 Pro, and Black Shark RS are the three new models announced by the firm that was originally a part of Xiaomi.

Starting with one of the most important specifications when it comes to gaming smartphones, we find identical screens in all three models, and while they are unchanged from their predecessors, they still provide us with a large playback surface, with an AMOLED panel that does not only provide us with better image quality and colors but also with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 720Hz, ensuring maximum game performance.
It is surely the processor, which is even more crucial to take benefit of this and the rest of the phone's features. And it's because one of the Black Shark 5's variations has a different chipset, up to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the case of the Pro model.
In addition, all three versions include at least 8 GB of RAM and 4,650 mAh batteries with the capability for fast charging of 120W.
As a result, there are some minor changes in the rest of the features, such as internal storage, which is limited to 128 GB in the base model. The cameras, though, will be the most significant difference.
Despite the fact that the three terminals will have a triple configuration, the base model and the RS will both feature a 64 MP main sensor, while the Pro variation will have a 100 MP sensor.
The fact that, despite the fact that all three terminals feature secondary wide-angle and macro lenses, the medium model is the only one with a somewhat decreased secondary lens up to 8 MP wide-angle never ceases to astound us.
Something that, for some reason, will be rectified by the fact that it is the only terminal with a 20 MP front camera.
The phones have only been shown in China so far, with a premiere and sale date set for tomorrow, April 2, though it is predicted that, like the rest of the previous models, they will arrive in our nation in the coming months.
