The Story Behind Bella Hadid's Versace Gown

Since the Cannes Film Festival lasts for another three days, celebrities are trying to bring an outfit that will be talked about for a long time. And while some ladies choose glamorous dresses in effective colors, others believe in the rule "less is always more". Emily Ratajkowski, Bella Hadid, and Cara Delevingne delighted the audience with classic and modern combinations.

Emily appeared in a lace dress adorned with floral patterns and black zircons. The model put a black belt under her cleavage, which further highlighted her sculpted figure. While Cara Delevingne posed for the photographers who followed in her footsteps, she was joined on the red carpet by the French designer and creative director of the fashion house "Balmain", Olivier Rousteing.

Although the Cannes Festival has been going on for several days, only after the model Bella Hadid arrived in France can it be said that the real Cannes glamor has begun! Supermodel Bella Hadid is traditionally a guest of the Cannes International Film Festival, and she arrived this year as well, albeit a few days late. However, with her first appearance on the red carpet, she redeemed herself from missing a few days, because she wore one of the most beautiful formal dresses since we know her!

Bella attended the premiere of the French drama "The Innocent" (fr. L'innocent), directed by Louis Garrel, and for a walk in front of photo reporters before the screening of the film, she chose a dress that bears the signature of the fashion house Versace. It is a creation from the "archive", which we saw for the first time in the collection for the spring of 1987!

Bella’s dress has a corset in the upper part, without straps and sleeves, and from the waist the gorgeous taffeta falls dramatically and twisted around her part, giving it a very impressive look. Beneath this layer, the dress expands gradually and falls to the floor, providing maximum elegance with a line of eccentricity.

Versace, by the way, originally designed this dress for the Austrian singer Helga Dernesch, the famous soprano and mezzo-soprano. Combined with Chopard jewelry - dangling earrings and rings, of course, with diamonds - Bella gave this piece an extra dose of glamor as seen in the old Hollywood era, and spiced it all up with a beautiful braid bun.
