Both Connor and Bella, whom Tom has with his ex-wife Nicole Kidman, turned to social media for a very joyful purpose.
Tom's oldest son and daughter both pleased fans by revealing the new teaser for Top Gun: Maverick's highly anticipated release.
With the teaser featuring their father, the two previewed the action-packed third episode of the film franchise.
The change is important since Connor and Bella typically save their social media posts for work-related images rather than family insights.
Bella is a London-based artist, and Connor is an avid deep-sea fisherman who lives in Florida and operates his own BBQ meat company.
While their connection with Tom is kept private, they are said to have a deep bond with their father.
Nicole is not a Scientologist, and it has long been assumed that Bella and Connor do not speak to Nicole because of their engagement in their father's church.
However, the actress maintains that this is not the case, telling The Sun in 2019: "The experience of motherhood is all about the journey. Whether you are an adoptive or birth mother, you will experience great peaks and dips. A kid needs affection."
Nicole, who is married to Keith Urban and has two kids, Sunday and Faith, added: "They have taken the decision to become Scientologists. As parents, it is our job to show love and support at all times."
During their eleven-year marriage, Tom and Nicole adopted Bella and Connor.
