After 40 years Dolly Parton recreated her famous Playboy cover: 'The husband likes it'

And at age 75, Dolly Parton feels like a Playboy bunny. The actress and singer set fire to the internet with a video in which she, dressed as a bunny, talked about how she wants to make her husband's birthday more beautiful.

Dolly actually recreated her look from 1978 when she really graced the cover of Playboy.

"You're probably wondering why I'm dressed like this. Well, it's for my husband's birthday. Remember when I said some time ago that I would pose for Playboy when I was 75? Well, I'm 75 now, the magazine doesn't exist anymore, but my husband always loved that cover, ”she told fans.

She said her husband still thinks she is a "hot chick". “He thinks that even after 57 years, and I won’t convince him otherwise,” she said, adding that she also gave her husband photos of her first and second shootings.

She also shared a photo in which she presents her husband with a gift, in which his head can only be seen from behind.

Although they have been married since 1966, Parton and her husband Carl Dean, 79, a retired entrepreneur, are rarely seen in shared photos. Namely, he prefers to stay out of the spotlight. Parton used to joke that Dean had only seen her perform once.

For my husband, it’s always #HotGirlSummer,” she wrote alongside posting a video on Instagram, where she collected as many as 30,000 likes in just half an hour.

By the way, Parton was the first country singer ever to appear in an iconic bunny outfit, in 1978, at the age of 32. As recently as last year, she expressed a wish that she would like to try that again.

She delighted the public with her video, so even Joe Walsh, a former candidate for the US presidency, commented on it on Twitter. "I. Love. This. Woman.” he wrote.

Parton grew up in Tennessee, was nominated for a Grammy 49 times, and won it nine times. She was also recognized as an actress, so she was nominated for two Oscars, three Emmys, and a Tony. She owns the empire of Dollywood Company, a company engaged in the entertainment industry and employing thousands of people.
