In a recent interview with the Guardian, Angelina Jolie said that her experiences with her ex-husband Brad Pitt encouraged her to work as much as possible in the field of children's rights.

In an interview, she was asked if she feared for the safety of her children during the marriage, to which she replied that she feared for the safety of her family.
“Yes, I was afraid for my whole family,” Jolie said. She criticized the United States for not fully ratifying the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, and the actress claims the restrictions affected her court battle with Brad, including the fact that their 20-year-old son Maddox was denied a voice in court.
"I can't say much, but I want everyone to move forward. All of us, including Brad. I want us to be calm, we will always be family," Angelina added.
Recall, in May, the court granted Brad joint custody of the children. Angelina then challenged the verdict, in July a California court granted her request, allowing her to take custody, and Brad was only given the right to visit the children. Foreign media write that the actor recently filed a request with the Supreme Court of California to review the case.
By the way, the former spouses have spent more than a million dollars on divorce litigation and child custody in the last five years.
