Angelina Jolie sold her share of vineyard to Russian oligarch
Just when the passions calm down a bit, the war between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt flares up again...
Actress Angelina Jolie wanted to harm her ex-husband Brad Pitt when she sold her share in their joint vineyard, according to new legal documents. The actor is suing his ex-wife and the mother of six of their children for selling his part of the Chateau Miraval winery, which they bought together in 2008, to the Russian oligarch Yuri Shefler.
Having in mind the current Russian-Ukrainian conflict and the sanctions that the rich Russians suffered, the business could suffer because of this move and Pitt could be at a loss, and Brad stated that Angelina's decision to sell her part of the winery to Shefler forced him to a partnership with a "foreigner of poisonous connections and intentions."
The actor further claims that his ex-wife and he had an agreement not to sell their share without the permission of the latter and that Jolie violated it because she did it without Pitt's knowledge. His lawyers added that this business under his management had grown into a story of international and multimillion-dollar success and that Jolie did not contribute to that in any way. The conclusion is that Jolie tried to harm Pitt, the documents add.
