Angry Miao: Cyberboard keyboard, Terminal

Angry Miao has released Terminal, the latest iteration of their Cyberboard keyboard, which was first released in 2020.

The text-based input software of the same name may be unfamiliar to the typical user, but its black-and-green color world may be, thanks to movies and series attempting to exhibit hacker work, not to mention the Matrix series in a simulated reality.

The keyboard is similar not just to the aforementioned software, but also in appearance, as the new keyboard's dark-colored casing, made of translucent polycarbonate, was crammed by engineers with Kiwi mechanical switches with an EQUALZ green housing and illumination.

Not only does the light on the switches offer the appropriate ambiance on the keyboard, but there is also an LED panel on the device's top, downward-sloping edge, which allows the user to enjoy the familiar "digital rain" effect from the Matrix and Terminal.

The maker also includes translucent or non-engraved, translucent black key caps on the keyboard for an extra cost, which are delivered to clients in what we believe is a particularly attractive, black-and-green, briefcase-like box.

The polycarbonate enclosure, by the way, is not a change from the original Cyberboard, which was still encased in aluminum; the modification was required for a more dramatic light effect.

Fortunately, the maker also considered people who value the "substance in it" sensation, so a huge, mirror-polished steel plate was mounted to the bottom of the keyboard, artificially boosting the device's weight.

The limited-edition Angry Miao Cyberboard Terminal will be available for purchase tonight from the manufacturer's website, with the Base Kit, which simply conceals the keyboard, for $ 810 and the Bundle bundle, which includes caps, costing $ 810.

The product page is still unclear on whether the more expensive set includes both or only one cap set, and it is also unclear whether the switches are already included in the price of the Base Kit (although we think so). Only after the order has been opened will information be supplied.
