AOC CU32P2C: Curved 34-inch UWQHD monitor

With the CU32P2C, Taiwanese monitor manufacturer AOC introduces the latest addition to their portfolio. The monitor has a curved VA panel and a 34-inch screen diagonal with UWQHD resolution and a refresh rate of 100 Hertz. The display is presently available for 560 dollars.

AOC's product line expands with the introduction of a new monitor. It is the CU32P2C, which has a VA panel that spans 34 inches. This is also curved, having a 1500R curvature. The CU32P2C also has UWQHD resolution, which is 3,440 x 1,440 pixels with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 100 Hz.

Brightness, colors, ergonomics, and connections

Furthermore, AOC's new monitor has a brightness of 300 cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 3000:1, and response times of 4 ms (GtG) and 1 ms (MPRT). The backlight also includes AOC's Flicker-Free technology, which tries to eliminate flickering light, as well as the company's Low Blue Light technology, which inhibits potentially hazardous blue light.

The display can render 16.7 million colors, but AOC has not offered any details on HDR features. Furthermore, the Adobe RGB color space is covered by 89 percent, while the sRGB color space is covered by 120 percent.

What about the CU32P2C's ergonomics? According to AOC, the monitor's height can be changed up to 150 mm. Tilt and pan are both possible with the CU32P2C. AOC's monitor can also be placed on a wall using a 100 x 100 mm VESA wall mount instead of a stand.

The measurements are 611.53 x 808.34 x 275.13 mm (H x W x D) with the base - 367.45 x 808.34 x 100.14 mm (H x W x D) without the base - and the weight is 12.7 kilos. Furthermore, the CU32P2C is available in black and should impress with its slim frame, which is beneficial when employing multiple monitors side by side.

In terms of connectors, AOC's latest model also has a lot of variety. The monitor can be linked through two HDMI 2.0 ports, one Displayport 1.2 port, or USB-C. The C32P2C, for example, has four USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports in the USB hub for peripheral devices.

Some vendors already have AOC's monitor in stock.
