Ben Affleck's father is surprised by the news about Jennifer Lopez!

Ben Affleck's father, Timothy Affleck, spoke about the renewed romance between his son and the singer Jennifer Lopez.

Namely, the 77-year-old said that he was not informed that they had reconciled, and neither was the rest of the family. He added also, that Ben hadn't been "hung up" on the Latino star for years.

Given that many from the show business industry say that Ben and Jennifer have never stopped loving each other, many were surprised that Ben's father didn't even know that the Bennifer is relevant again.

"Of course, I heard about her, but I had no idea what was happening," said Timothy.
"I talk to my children about their life when I see them and they only tell me what they want," he said.

He admitted that he may have been "in the dark" because he had not been able to meet with Ben for months.

"I haven't seen my children for so long because of the corona virus," Timothy said.

Bennifer, as they used to be called, are together again 17 years after their breakup in 2004, and they look more in love than ever.

The couple was first spotted together a few weeks ago during a vacation in Montana, and after that, they spent a week together in Miami, where they were photographed several times on the balcony of a villa they rented just for the two of them.

Remember, the two met on the set of the movie "Gigli" in 2001 and were engaged from 2002 to 2004, after which he married actress Jennifer Garner, with whom he has three children and from whom he divorced in 2018.

Lopez, meanwhile, was married to singer Mark Anthony, with whom she has twins - Maximilian and Emme.
