The dress that was declared the dress of 2021 is certainly well known to you! The editors of the fashion magazine “Dazed” and the fashion museum in Bath, England, chose the famous piece that Megan Markle wore during the interview with Oprah Winfrey as the best dress for last year.
The television interview that marked the first half of 2021 is still being mentioned today, and numerous statements by Meghan Markle have divided the world: from those who believed her and cried at her confession, to those who claim that everything is a well-directed play for the naive.
However, there is no doubt that the black and white silk dress, signed by Giorgio Armani, has become a cult, partly due to the nature of the interview that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry gave in California to Oprah Winfrey after many months of silence.
When fashion editors were asked why Meghan Markle’s dress was named the dress of the year, the answer was that it is now firmly “rooted in the psyche of our pop culture”. Like it or not, you certainly can't deny it.
