Cardi B's green outfit in Paris sparks memes on Twitter: 'She's giving Kermit the frog'
Cardi B's latest outfit at Paris Fashion Week is raising some eyebrows.
The “WAP” hitmaker appeared in Paris on Sunday in a quirky bright green suit. The outfit, designed by Richard Quinn, featured a form-fitting blouse that opened at the front, a ruffled bonnet, and sleeves that turned into gloves reported Page Six.
The unique ensemble also included pleated parachute pants that covered the rapper's feet, similar to a jumpsuit and a flattering waistline that highlighted her curves. Cardi's appearance immediately sparked social media memes, with Twitter users comparing her to everything from vegetables to Kermit the Frog.
"She looks like a frog," commented one. "She's giving Kermit the frog," wrote another.
"Why does it look like one of those plants from 'Plants vs. Zombies'? Joked another.
Some users joked that his outfit resembled the sunflower jumpsuit Will Smith once wore in an episode of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", while others said it reminded them of Dipsy from "Teletubbies".
