Celine Dion is making a documentary: I have always been an open book for my fans
World music icon Celine Dion is shooting a documentary that will focus on her personal life and successful career.
According to the official media announcement, "the documentary will serve as a film that defines one of the widely respected and most successful ladies from the show business and the pop music industry." In addition, the documentary will be filmed with the full support, consent, and participation of Celine."
Directed by Oscar-nominated Irene Taylor, this as-yet-unnamed project will be part of the Sony Music Entertainment Premium Content Division, in collaboration with Sony Music Entertainment Canda and Vermilion Films.

"I have always been an open book for my fans, and I think that Irena with her sensibility and thoughtful creativity will be able to show everyone the part of me that they have not had the opportunity to see before. I know that she will tell my story in the most honest way," Celine Dion pointed out.
Known for her hit songs like “Because You Loved Me,” “The Power of Love” and the Titanic theme “My Heart Will Go On,” Dion has sold more than 250 million albums worldwide, while also winning numerous awards during her musical career.

Taylor hopes to reveal more of her intimate story in an interview she will do as part of the documentary.
"This adventure with the legendary Celine Dion is an incredible opportunity for me. The approach to researching her life and career will give me the opportunity to create a multifaceted portrait of an iconic, global superstar, while I am also looking forward to sharing it with the whole world," Taylor pointed out.
The official release date of the documentary has not yet been announced.
