David Beckham doc series in works at Netflix
The popular football player confirmed the news on Instagram
The Netflix documentary series on David Beckham will feature a mix of never-before-seen personal archive footage from the last 40 years of the former England captain's life. Also, interviews with friends, family, and personalities from the world of football who were part of his career were published by the media in England.
It has been revealed that the multi-part series will explore Beckham's humble beginnings in East London, as well as his talent and determination which have made him one of the most recognizable and popular athletes on the planet.
The series will be directed and produced by Academy Award winner Fisher Stevens, along with Emmy Award-winning producer John Battsek. David, 47, announced on Instagram that he was excited about the series: “I am excited to confirm that I am working on a documentary series about my life and career in partnership with Netflix. The series will contain unprecedented archives, untold stories, as well as interviews with people who were part of my journey” - wrote Beckham.

David Beckham had an extremely successful football career during which he played for both Manchester United and Real Madrid. He played 115 games for England, while his marriage to the singer of the "Spice Girls" Victoria Beckham kept him in the center of the world's attention for years.
They met when Victoria, accompanied by the group's manager and colleagues, attended the match in London. On that occasion, David admitted to them that the whole team had heard about the group and that Victoria was, logically, his favorite member. However, the two did not speak on that occasion.
But that's not the end of the story, because Victoria was very persistent. She also came to one of the next matches, and David was able to use the new chance. He had a few drinks to build up his courage, then went over and asked for her phone number. They kissed for the first time in the parking lot in front of a restaurant. They enjoyed driving around town and spending as much time as possible together. It was a wonderful period of the relationship, according to David.
