Musk has recently chastised Twitter, claiming that the company undermines democracy by failing to adhere to free speech principles. The unveiling of the acquisition will be another major test for new Twitter CEO Paraga Agrawal, who took over for Jack Dorsey after he unexpectedly left in November.
Agrawal is devoted to boosting accountability, making faster choices, and making faster progress on new product development. The company has set lofty growth goals, such as raising yearly revenue to $7.5 billion and reaching 315 million daily users by the end of 2023.
