Elon Musk offered teenager $5000 to close Twitter account!
Billionaire Elon Musk has offered a teenager from Florida $5000 to delete a Twitter bot account that tracks the activity of his private plane, but that was not enough for him.
The CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk is a great inspiration to everyone all over the world. The reason he has so many followers on social media is his extensive passion for science and technology. ElonJet has over 150,000 followers and uses a bot developed by Jack Sweeney to track Mask's flights. The program tweets when and where the plane takes off or lands, as well as the duration of each trip.
The 19-year old teenager Jack Sweeney follows other billionaires, including Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos, about ten of them.
On November 30, Musk sent a message to the student implying. "Can you take this off?" Musk asked. "It's a security risk," he added.
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO has offered the teenager $ 5,000 to prevent "crazy people" from following his flights. "I don't like the idea of being killed by a lunatic," Musk said.
However, Sweeney retaliated by asking for $ 50,000, saying he could use the money for college and perhaps Tesla (TSLA) Model 3.

The last exchange of messages between teenager and billionaire was on Wednesday, January 19, when Musk said that it was wrong to "pay to close this".
Sweeney said he has been a SpaceX fan since the first launch of the Falcon Heavy in 2018. His father works for the aviation industry, which prompted his interest in aviation.
"5,000 is not enough for what I get from it," Sweeney said. "It doesn't replace anything, like the enjoyment factor."
Sweeney has offered several technical tips to Mask, including a program to block flight tracking.
"He seems like he took that advice," Sweeney said, adding that it seemed to him that Musk was currently using a blocking program as he told him so. Although Mr. Musk’s plane is on the LADD block list, which removes identifying information, the bot can use a plane’s altitude and the time it takes to receive the data to calculate when it is flying or landing.
Therefore, can Sweeney still follow Mask's flights despite the blocking program? "I can, it's just more complicated," Sweeney said.
