The third and fourth seasons of the popular Netflix series have been announced! (caution, possible spoilers!)
Watching it out of pure joy or presenting it as ‘guilty pleasure’, you could hardly resist the sweet appeal of the hit series ‘Emily in Paris’. The popular pandemic series entertained viewers in 94 countries around the world, with over 107 hours watched in the first 4 days of the second season, Variety reports. Therefore, it is logical to expect that many will enthusiastically welcome the news that the 3rd and 4th seasons are ahead of us!
After American girl Emily moved to Paris in her first season to build a career in marketing, she managed to annoy other characters (and many viewers) with her stereotypical understanding of life in Europe, omniscient attitude, and getting involved in a love triangle with her neighbor and friend.
She also met Briton Alfie, had a turbulent relationship with Camille, and seems to have managed to soften her boss Sylvie as well. The second season ended on ‘cliffhanger’, with Sylvie’s offer to Emily to move into her agency and stay and live in Paris. Will she accept it? Given the news of seasons 3 and 4, we will be so free to conclude that she will, although we have no doubt that future seasons will be full of vicissitudes and cultural misunderstandings.
Not much has been revealed about the content yet, but we know that in addition to Lily Collins, we will watch Lucas Bravo aka handsome chef Gabriel in new episodes, Ashley Park as Mindy, Camille Razat, but also the characters Sylvia, Luc, and Julian.
Lucien Laviscount, who embodies the character of Alfie, Emily's love interest in the 2nd season, also became part of the permanent cast. How their relationship will develop and whether it means that Emily will travel across the English Channel in the new season has not yet been revealed, but the creator and producer of the series Darren Star has revealed that Emily will get involved in love affairs 'that give everyone headache’. She will also explore locations around Paris - so it seems that another fun season awaits us.
Her filming starts on June 3, and although the date of the broadcast is not yet known, it is assumed that it will be the same as before, in December.
