A number of Asian manufacturers are competing for buyers' attention in the PC case market. Taiwan is home to not only Asus but also Gigabyte and other manufacturers.

Gigabyte is now providing a new tower with the C500 Glass that is meant to entice users with a particularly straightforward hardware installation.

Gigabyte is expanding its C series, which previously included the C200 (about 65 USD), the somewhat more expensive C300, and the C700 Glass (approximately 460 USD). The price of the C500 Glass is yet unknown.

The C500 Glass allows you to install graphics cards vertically or horizontally. The unit includes two vertical mounts that can accept pixel accelerators that are 73mm or 160mm thick.

The case has cable guides and holes on the back of the mainboard tray for improved airflow. The front panel features hinges that give direct access to fans and other components so that they may be readily removed.

A power supply up to 220 mm long can be installed on a bracket and pressed directly into the enclosure. The C500 Glass contains magnetically attached dust filters on the front and top, as well as a dust filter on the bottom, to keep the PC clean.

On the front of the casing, up to three 140 mm fans can be fitted. Two 140 mm fans may supply fresh air from the top and back. Three ARGB and PWM fans are pre-installed behind the front panel, as is a 120 mm fan in the rear.

You can also install a radiator up to 420 mm long behind the front panel, a radiator 360 mm high, and a radiator for water cooling 140 mm high in the back. The C500 Glass can also house two 2.5-inch hard disks and two 3.5-inch HDDs.

The I/O panel includes two USB-A ports that support USB 3.0, a USB Type-C port that supports USB 3.1, and a jack connector for microphones and headphones. A hooked tempered glass panel with 4 mm glass is located on the side.
