Goat Simulator 3 is real and it's wonderful news

If you don't know Goat Simulator,  which won a well-deserved award at the Steam awards for the best titles of 2016, specifically in the category "The best thing to do with a farm animal," we're talking about the game that catapulted Coffee Stain Studios to fame, which later surprised us with titles like Satisfactory.

Goat Simulator, as the name suggests, is a goat simulator, but not just any goat. We're talking about a goat whose primary capacity is to sow mayhem and who can rely on an unending supply of accessories to do so. The purpose of the game is... well, let's just say to demonstrate the level of mayhem you're capable of causing in a free world context.

The mechanics are completely fake, the effects of the punches are far more deadly than in real life, and for the first few hours of the game, you will alternate between opening your mouth in disbelief and laughing after embracing the foolishness.

The original Goat Simulator was released in 2014, and subsequent DLCs included new landscapes and mechanisms, as well as providing an online option in which we could combine the destructive effect of numerous goats. It was a complete success, which we can still find in digital stores today, and to which we occasionally want to return for a few hours to make a fool of ourselves with the excuse that it is not us, that it is an ignorant goat that has half sobbing city.

And, in the news that will excite many people, including myself, Coffee Stain Studios and Epic Games have revealed, with a promising trailer, that Goat Simulator 3 will be released next fall. Yes, you read that correctly: Goat Simulator 3, which will undoubtedly make you ponder about Goat Simulator 2.

As you might have anticipated, and it won't surprise you if you already knew the original or are getting a sense of how this studio works, there was no second section; Goat Simulator 3 is the sequel to Goat Original Simulator.

The teaser doesn't reveal much, and it appears like the PC version of the game will only be available on the Epic Games Store for the time being.

It will also be available on PlayStation and Xbox, and while it is unclear which versions will be available, we can assume that it will be available for both the current and past generations, as we should not expect a title tailored to take advantage of the new generation.
