"Voyage" went live at midnight Thursday in various time zones, to the delight of longtime fans worldwide.

"It doesn't sound dated, it doesn't sound 40 years ago," ABBA fan Emilie De Laere said at a listening party in Stockholm for the Swedish band's long-awaited release.

The band ABBA announced the new album in early September in London and presented one of the new songs "I Still Have Faith in You".

Before the release of the album, two more songs "Don't Shut Me Down" and a modernized version of the song "Just A Notion", recorded in 1978, were presented to the public, but were not found on any album.

The band also announced a tour, but a virtual one with holograms of the band members.

The Swedish quartet was active from 1972 to 1982. The last album of the group "The Visitors" was released in 1982. The iconic band consists of Ulvaeus (76), Benny Andersson (74), Anni-Frid Lyngstad (75), and Agnetha (71).
