Gordon Ramsay is no stranger to controversy, but it was his daughter who called him out on an unexpected dinner decision he made on Thursday.
The Michelin-starred chef was caught on daughter Holly's Instagram Stories, settling a long-running argument about whether pineapple belongs on pizza — and his solution may surprise you.
Holly, 22, zoomed in on a delicious-looking pizza with parma ham and rocket in the video clip, but when she zoomed in closer, she pointed out a contentious item concealed among the toppings: pineapple!
She then switched the camera on her father Gordon, who appeared to be up to no good.
"Sir, there's really pineapple on that pizza...@gordonramsay," she commented on the video, posing the question to the public.
"Does pineapple belong on pizza?" Holly questioned her 292,000 Twitter followers. So far, the results reveal an almost equal split (surprisingly), with 53 percent voting yes and 47 percent voting nay. Gordon doesn't appear to be so divisive after all!
In the brief photo taken at Pizzeria Motto in central London, the father-daughter duo appeared to be as close as ever.
Their excursion comes just weeks after Holly shared a photo on Instagram in honor of International Women's Day, prompting Gordon to express his admiration for the 22-year-old.
The blond beauty looked stunning seated on the edge of a pool in the shot, which she captioned: "I'd like to wish you a happy International Women's Day. #internationalwomensday I'm delighted to be surrounded by such hardworking and inspiring women."
"So proud of you @hollyramsayy," Gordon said with a crimson love heart.
Gordon stood proudly with his daughter again in December of last year, this time announcing her one-year sobriety on Instagram.
In addition to like the post, Metro claimed that her happy father Gordon congratulated her on her accomplishment. "What a great young girl, and words can't express how pleased you make me feel," he wrote. "I love you very much Dad."

The price has angered many, and the River Restaurant is scheduled to open on Oct. 11. Gordon described this restaurant on his website as classic, yet elegant and relaxed.
