How much money Diana left to her son Harry?

Although more than two years have passed since Megzit and the storm has (quite) subsided,  Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue to arouse public interest, and sometimes the subject of attention is their statements - which are constantly commented on - and with good reason.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle withdrew from their functions in the British royal family more than two years ago, left the United Kingdom, and began a somewhat more peaceful life in California.

This couple lives with their son Archie and daughter Lilibet, and they do not appear in public so often. They recently attracted a lot of attention at the NAACP awards, and shortly before that, Megan's dress, which she wore during the interview with Oprah Winfrey, was declared the "dress of 2021".

Of course, the life of this couple could not be very simple, but in the midst of a bombastic interview with Oprah, Harry pointed out that it was not easy for them in terms of finances.

Harry admitted that he was left without financial support from his family at the beginning of last year, so he had to enter new business waters, so he signed a contract with his wife with the streaming services Spotify and Netflix.

-“It happened at the moment when my family left me with nothing. I had to afford insurance for the two of us. I only had the money that my mother left me and without it, we could not do anything” - said Harry.

However, it is also known how accurate the figure is when it comes to the inheritance that Harry left from his mother Diana.

In 2014, Forbes announced that Harry received as much as 10 million pounds from his mother's estate.

William and Harry are the main heirs, but Diana passed on part of the wealth to Paul Burrell, as well as to his godparents. Paul Burrell was one of Diana’s closest confidantes while he was working for her. Although he kept her secrets while she was alive, decades after her death he didn't have a problem to talk about it in media.

After the divorce, Diana received jewelry and shares from Charles, and all that went to her sons after her death.
